What F14 applies to — and the 1 October 2026 change

Note which way round that runs. Almost every fashion code in Egypt and the Gulf says “full-price items only”. From October, F14 says the opposite: it will work only on items that already carry a markdown, and the 10% comes off the reduced price, so the two stack.

A worked example. A full-price EGP 800 jacket costs EGP 720 with F14 in September. In October the code will not touch it — you pay EGP 800. But the same jacket marked down to EGP 560 takes the code and lands at EGP 504.

The practical advice: anything full-price you have been putting off — new-season denim, winter knitwear, kids’ sizes that sell out — is worth buying before 30 September. After that, F14 becomes a clearance-rail tool.

What DeFacto Egypt sells

Men’s, women’s and children’s fashion at value prices, with denim as the deepest category — slim, skinny, straight and wide-leg for both men and women. Alongside it: cotton basics and tees, office and smart-casual shirts, trousers and blazers, knitwear and light outerwear, and a dedicated newborn section for 0–12 months. Bags, shoes, belts, scarves and sunglasses round out the range.

Delivery, payment and returns in Egypt

Free shipping above EGP 599; below that a flat charge of about EGP 65 via Aramex, arriving in three to eight working days — faster in Cairo, Giza and Alexandria, slower in the Delta and Upper Egypt.

Watch the threshold against the code. A EGP 620 basket becomes EGP 558 once 10% comes off, which drops it under the free-shipping line and brings the EGP 65 back. Add a small item instead of removing the code.

Cash on delivery is accepted alongside Visa, Mastercard and American Express, though some campaigns are restricted to card payment — if a valid code is refused, switch payment method before giving up on it. Egyptian VAT is 14% and is calculated after the discount. Returns and exchanges run 30 days from delivery with the item unworn, in original packaging and with the invoice; underwear and swimwear are excluded.
