Every code below is checked on an Egyptian storefront, priced in EGP, and works with cash on delivery unless the notes say otherwise.

DeFacto’s F14 changes what it covers on 1 October 2026

Worth knowing before you plan a basket. Until 30 September 2026, F14 takes 10% off every product on defacto.com.eg, full price included. From 1 October 2026 it applies to already-discounted items only — full-price stock stops qualifying.

The free-shipping trap that catches most people

This is the single most useful thing on the page. DeFacto ships free above EGP 599; below it you pay roughly EGP 65 via Aramex. A 10% code applied to a EGP 620 basket drops it to EGP 558 — under the threshold — so you save EGP 62 on the goods and then hand EGP 65 straight back in shipping. You end up worse off than paying full price.

The fix is simple: check whether the discount pushes your subtotal below the free-shipping line before you apply it. If it does, add one more small item rather than removing the code. The same logic applies at any merchant with a threshold, which in Egypt is most of them.

Read the cap, not the percentage

Noon’s MP411 is the clearest example of a capped code. It reads as 10% off, but the cap is EGP 50, so:

• EGP 300 basket → EGP 30 off (the full 10%)
• EGP 500 basket → EGP 50 off (still 10%, exactly at the ceiling)
• EGP 1,500 basket → still EGP 50 off (an effective 3.3%)

How VAT and cash on delivery work here

Egypt applies 14% VAT, and merchants show prices inclusive of it. A coupon comes off the pre-tax value, so the tax falls with the discount — you are not taxed on money you did not spend.

Cash on delivery is still the dominant payment method in Egypt, and almost every merchant on this page accepts it. Two things to watch: some merchants add a COD handling fee that is not shown until the final step, and a small but growing number void promotional codes on COD orders. If a valid code is rejected and everything else looks right, switch the payment method to card and try it again before concluding the code is dead.

Egyptian storefronts are separate entities from their Gulf siblings — noon.com/egypt-ar is not noon.com/uae-en, and a code issued for one is validated against that one only.
