Where the value actually sits
The uncapped 5% on mobile is the better deal on anything above SAR 8,000 — on a flagship phone it beats the capped 10%. The appliance discount hits its SAR 400 ceiling at a SAR 4,000 basket, so on a fridge or a large TV you are effectively getting a flat SAR 400 rather than 10%.
Practical consequence: split a mixed order. Buying a phone and a TV together wastes the uncapped mobile rate against the appliance cap.
When to buy
Saudi National Day on 23 September and White Friday in late November are when Samsung KSA runs its own deepest cuts, and a code on top of a promotional price is usually still permitted on the direct store — unlike at most retailers.
Worth knowing
Saudi VAT of 15% is applied after the discount. Installation and haul-away on large appliances are booked at checkout; the code does not apply to those service lines.
